Being the first post on a blog dedicated to justifying the UK hype...I just had to pick the UK's current posterboy for the "it" band.
The Klaxons are huge. And unless you don't have the internet or live in North America, you know who they are and what they're doing. Without ever releasing a LP this band has taken the UK by storm being categorized unfortunately as "new-rave".
If you are in North America (like I am, I just love European culture) and have no idea who these lads are, here's a few tracks.
New single is madness. It's called MagicK and you can listen to it here.
I had planned on putting Gravity's Rainbow up but it's on every other blog these days so find it yourself. Instead I'll give you a relatively rare Klaxons mp3 that is unbelievable. I'm not sure where it came from. It's not on their debut EP, perhaps it's just a demo to their forthcoming LP. Not Over Yet.
