A band that has always been mentioned in conversations between indie kids, rock kids, folk kids... well, just in a lot of conversations. For some reason I had never checked out these guys, so when they're new CD released last week and The Shins topped The Hype Machine most blogged and most searched charts, I went out and bought the record titled Wincing The Night Away.It's fantastic, James Mercer's voice is soothing, unique, and beautiful. If you're looking for music that acts as a soundtrack for sitting around reading, travelling, drinking, or most activities in between, pick this album up!
