Another Weekend In The City

In these times of new albums leaking weeks and months before their release, bands and labels seem almost clueless as to how to take action against downloaders. In the case of Bloc Party, their sophomore album, A Weekend In The City, leaked around roughly November 10, with the planned release date of February 6.

However, an ingenious move has kept up the buzz around their release and the internet bloggers are going wild over this "second album".

Bloc Party have released various combinations of b-sides to only select stores. For example, We Were Lovers and The Once and Future King will not be found in the same store, or maybe even the same country. This b-side scavenger hunt, along with strong advertisement on The NME, have caused Bloc Party's stock to stay so high.

The b-sides sound like a transition from Silent Alarm to A Weekend In The City. Really cool.

For the entire album (including remixes), here's a set of links for you. The * marks tracks that are not included in the RAR file.
